About Me.

I have been fully immersed in the field of design and research ever since I was a child. What started out as a passion for art, fashion design, interior design, and making things beautiful while keeping a strong focus on usability soon led to a passion for web and app design and a desire to improve the experience of users accomplishing tasks using digital products.

My background started in the fashion industry, first by working with a research team during my college years, where we developed a repurposed textile that earned multiple grants and became patented. I then worked in the fashion industry in Los Angeles, cross-collaborating company-wide, communicating daily with team members in various locations worldwide, and working together to quickly and efficiently produce the next season of garments. This taught me to communicate effectively and be detail-oriented in order to accomplish our goals in a timely manner.

I then made the decision to switch to the field of user experience and user interface design. I have worked in the field doing contract work but took some time off during the covid-19 pandemic to move cross-country and be a homemaker, which I focused on with the attention of it being a full-time job. While I am still in need of more UX/UI design experience, I am proficient with the latest design tools and trends, and my skills of learning quickly, being able to multi-task and being a hard worker and devoting myself to the task at hand, taking initiative, and working well both solo or with a team.
